Up close and personal we visited a Quaker farm in Monteverde and after milking our cows we tried our luck at cheese making.

Joe Piziali presses the cheese into a wheel. This particular press has the letters OAT on the top, which stands for our tour company, Overseas Adventure Travel. We were served the cheese the next morning.

Later we fed the milk to the calves, using enormous baby bottles. the calves sucked down the milk at a rapid pace.
